Today I would love to chat Goals and how you can reach them, but you know what- thats for another day… Today is going to be my top 5 tips on how to succeed when you are on your fitness journey!
#1: Support: You have to have support, whether it is at home-friends-or online support, like myself. You can reach only so much by yourself- you can also sacrifice and give up easier when its just you! So before you move onto tip #2, you have to commit to getting a support partner! If you need me- I am a message away!
#2. Be mentally prepared: You have to mentally be ready to commit to your fitness. You have to know that you will be tempted, you will have setbacks, but you will have the mental strength to put one foot in front of the other! We all go through ups and downs in our fitness journey- but you have to have the willingness to keep going, every day, no matter what you are faced with.
#3. Plan: You have to plan and be prepared to start, When will you start? What is your start date? What is your fitness regimen? What is your nutrition and meal plan like? What will you do every day to stay accountable? How will you plan for that birthday party or office lunch in? You can fail to plan or plan to fail. You have the decision to make- what will it be? Will you have your commitment, plan, and support ready to start on X date?
#4. Start: When you have your known supporters, you’re mentally prepared, you have your plan in stone. You have to just start- You cannot procrastinate. The longer you say tomorrow the longer your results will happen. The longer you wait the more time you are setting yourself up for failure. You must start and stay on track- Progress not Perfection.
#5. Decide. Commit. Succeed.: Now it is time for you to decide, commit, and succeed. Your success is a direct reflection of how ready you are for change! If you are ready to conquer the world, then you need to have your plan in place! You need to commit- write your goals down and strive to do better each day. You will succeed, but you have to have the confidence that your goals are worth it to you! YOU ARE WORTHY! Make this fitness journey like no other journey out there!

Tons of bloat and swollen from the sodium and alcohol I consumed over the weekend! 4 lbs can just be water weight and not much for some! But when you Change your lifestyle this is what can happen!!! This is nothing that water, shakeology, and greens can’t take care of! But it comes with the dedication and commitment to get to where I want to be!!!!
This is to show you I am human and slip up and gain weight even though I am a health and fitness coach! Life gets in the way, we have parties and celebrations and as long as it’s not daily it’s ok to enjoy yourself!!!

I love when I get messages from people or meet with them and they say, “I like who you are, REAL!” “I like your message, be your best self!”
You don’t have to be someone you are not— for years I tried living and being someone I wasn’t to fit in, to look like, or act like others and let me tell you it SUCKS when you are left to dry because you could never be them— BE YOU!
Be who God has created you to be, be the person you know you could be, be the person you want to be for your kids! BE YOU, THE REAL YOU! Don’t let anything or anyone sacrifice the beauty in you!!! Don’t waste your time and energy! Don’t look back! Start living today and make yourself better than ever! You are worth it!
If you are not the person you want to be, change! But don’t look at someone that is on Chapter 20 or their journey when you are only on Chapter 1! You have a story to tell and a story to live, when you are just starting out all you can do is compare yourself to the person you were yesterday! We all have a different journey to live and a different story to tell! We come from a different place with different genes! If we can’t be the person we want to be then we need to let the past go and start living for today and put on step in front of the other!!!
Compare yourself to the BEST YOU YOU HAVE EVER BEEN! Never compare yourself to someone you never were, because you will never be that person! Be yourself! Everyone else is taken =)

Back in November, right around my birthday, I had this feeling of “incompleteness” and I wanted more for my fitness goals…. I threw the idea of a fitness (figure or bikini) competition around and I had so many people say yes and others say no… I got a lot of “it’s going to kill your body and take away time from your kids” and so I just did the Ultimate Reset again and bam didn’t feel accomplished…
I always tell my challengers “you can do it, you can do whatever you put your mind to” and here I was letting myself down- not pushing hard enough- not doing something I wanted to “try”
Back in March I committed to Body Beast with my husband, Chris Minton, and told him and have been still playing with the idea of a competition and he said ok let’s do it! I’ll support you and do whatever you need! So I said ok, never set a date of fully committing and a friend messaged me ” I HAVE AN IDEA call me” yep pretty sure that solidified my decision!!!!!!!
All the details are not final but as of today I am ALL IN 100% so now all I need is YOUR support during this! Help me stay accountable PLEASE!
Oh yeah and don’t judge me for doing something I want with my life! I have been living to impress everyone around me and I am done! I stop now!

This is the Meal Plan i will be following for the next 3 weeks, I may switch it up with different veggies and different beans, but this is the majority of what I will be eating! I will also switch meals and eat lunch for dinner some days! I will do what works for me that day and my schedule! You do what works for you!
Quinoa: Cook 1 cup of quinoa to 2 cups water, on stove- combine water and qunioa, bring to boil- reduce heat and simmer until water is all gone! (approx. 15 min.)
I JUST ADD CINNAMON AFTER FOR BREAKFAST =)
I also have other Vegan Meal Plans that follow the 21 Day Fix idea (thats why the above is color coded, thats how I will measure my food each day!)
