Core de Force week 2 update…

Core De Force is the BOMB!!! It is my new favorite workout! I get soo excited to wake up and workout! While the workouts are great, my nutrition has been ok, and I am still seeing results! I celebrated a 30th birthday and thanksgiving within the first 15 days and still managed to lose 4.1 lbs and 2.5 inches around my body! These are my before and current pictures…

You can find my meal plan here. Along with that the other change I made was wearing a post baby belly band. Picture below- but what it does is helps me hold my core in while working out- being postpartum almost 9 months now- I knew I needed some change for my body to change. I have been working out every day since being cleared at 6 weeks post baby… but my body would not change- i would barely lose lbs (i think a total of 6 in 8 months) and lost a good amount of inches… but nothing consistent! I finally feel this program will help the drop consistently- which is what we need to see to stick to it right?

As I finish this first round of Core De Force, I will clean up my diet- I will add warm lemon water to my morning routine, and I will be on the look out for more support and challengers to go side by side with me!

Measuring Success and Progress: Throw the scale AWAY!

One thing I have found myself doing in the beginning of my journey was getting on the scale EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! Noticing my body would lose 2 lbs and gain 3… lose 4, gain 0… It was always a roller coaster when I would step on the scale! I had to make a commitment with myself that I would only weight in on Saturday (one day a week). This way I would see how I felt throughout the week, stay on track each day and push hard to see the results on Saturday!




I was not only weighing myself on saturday’s, but I would also measure and see if any inches were lost! There were some weeks I would not lose weight but would lose inches and vice versa! Weight loss journey is more than what the number on the scale says, it is about how you look and feel! If you are Eating the recommended CLEAN calories, working out daily, and drinking plenty of water- you will lose weight and inches!




I have found over the last 2 years, that muscle weighs the same as fat but takes up less space! When you are working out, whether it is lifting weights of cardio- you will be gaining muscle, muscle burns fat and in return helps you lose inches but not necessarily weight! This is why I started taking my progress pictures weekly and measuring my success by how clothes fit! So I saved an outfit from when I was in college (NOT SURE WHY) but finally 6 years, 2 kids, and 80+ lbs gained later…… I tried them on! GUESS WHAT IT FIT!!!!




its not always how much you weigh, it is how you feel, and what you look like! It you are happy in your skin you will glow- it will show how healthy you are making your lifestyle!

My Progress: Motivate the Mind to Motivate the Body!

I have been on my journey for about 2 1/2 years and every time I look at my Day 1 picture it seriously motivates me to PUSH Harder, Become Stronger, and to be HAPPY!me- pre p90x


The day I decided to jump on the Beachbody Bandwagon was when I hit rock bottom, I was MISERABLE, Depressed, and super Sad because I let my body get to this point without doing anything to change! I was taking my anger and frustration with myself out on everyone else around me, people that did not deserve it and were there to help me! I took the leap of faith and bought P90X off of an informercial with a credit card and on the payment plan because 1 I did not have the money and 2 I was not sure this was even going to work for me! 2 years later (after failing twice I decided it was time to go in full force) So I had a support group that helped me, supported me, and gave me advice to stay on track! (Now we call them Support/Challenge Groups). I got so much support that i needed to share this with everyone! So i did my duty as a Beachbody Coach and recruited other Mommas to join me on my journey!


Fast Forward 2 years and I have never felt better! I have completed 90% of beachbody’s programs, There are several from low-high intensity, 10 min- and hour+, and from dance to weights! There is a program for everyone and with the help of Shakeology, the nutrition, and our support groups,  you are guaranteed to get the results you want in the time frame of the program!

This is my progress thus far! 168lbs to 138lbs…. and MANY MANY MANY inches off! Look at the face if nothing else! Depressed to HAPPY!!!! Crazy to see how my body and mind have transformed other the years and how much I can help others out there because I have been there and done that!
