Health Benefits of Parsley

Parsley is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean. There are two types of parsley, italian and french curly-leaf, and they are available fresh or dried. Parsley has many health benefits, as listed in the chart, and oftentimes is labeled as the “most powerful disease-fighting plants”.  The herb is low in calories and rich in vitamin K, A, and C. Parsley also has antioxidants which can reduce stress in your body and may lower your risk of certain cancers.
