Our next April produce item is one of those vegetables that I guessing is not real popular or used a lot. Kohlrabi is a hardy vegetable part of the cabbage family that is primarily consumed in the European countries. Kohlrabi can be eaten raw or cooked, and has been said to taste similar to broccoli stems. Kohlrabi is filled with minerals and nutrients including calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, and calcium, as well as vitamins, such as vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, vitamin A, and vitamin K. Below are a few of the health benefits of kohlrabi. Another great veggie that doesn’t get a lot of attention, but is so good for you!!
