Scallions are part of the onion family which also include garlic, leeks, chives, and shallots. I think scallions sometimes get overlooked as a beneficial vegetable since it’s not widely used as many of the other onion type vegetables. I’m here to say… “Use scallions more!!” not only because they add so much flavor to any dish, but their health benefits are impressive!!
