There are so many different varieties of beans, but today I’m talking green beans. Green beans, also called snap beans or string beans, are extremely versatile and can be prepared many different ways. Fresh green beans have the most nutrition, they should be stored in a plastic bag in the refrigerator, and used within a week. Green beans are a great heart healthy food. Green beans have no cholesterol, low in sodium, and high in fiber. Green beans are a low FODMAP food which means they can be enjoyed by many people who have chronic digestive issues.
