One of my favorite comfort foods during the winter is soup!! There’s something about the blend of flavors, the hearty goodness, and the warmth it brings to the soul. Canned soup is good but full of preservatives and very high in sodium. Homemade is definitely the way to go, but some might be weary thinking it takes way too long to make. Honestly, I thought that too until I made a batch and found that it really isn’t that difficult and the leftovers are great for freezer storage.
