Salad: Jazzy ideas to a healthy meal!

The Wall Street Journal says, “Average Americans eat salads at mealtime only about 36 times per year.” WHAT?!?!?!? I probably do at least 360 meals a year, if not more. How about you?

Some people say eating salad is hard, it’s bland, it’s not filling! Well, I am going to give you a few of MY FAVORITE salad mixers and how I make them to FILL me UP!

First Tip: ALWAYS put an unlimited amount of veggies!

Second Tip: Add SOME TYPE of protein (Boneless Chicken, Tuna, Salmon, LEAN gound round/ turkey, steak) or healthy fat (almonds, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)!!!- It will help you get full!!!

Third Tip: MIX UP YOUR OPTIONS: fruits, beans, corn, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, dried fruit
