Erythritol vs. Monk Fruit: Which Sugar Substitute is Better?

The grocery stores are filled with foods that are using natural sugar substitutes and alternative sweeteners. It can be very confusing and overwhelming when trying to decide what is the better option and healthier for you. Today I will be discussing two of these natural sugar substitutes and the difference between. Erythritol, a sugar alcohol created by fermenting wheat or corn starch, and Monk fruit, an Asian fruit that is in the same family as gourds, pumpkins, and squash.
