<p>One of the best ways to stay motivated is to set realistic goals. If you set your sights too high, you&#8217;re likely to get discouraged and give up. Instead, start with small goals and gradually increase them as you get stronger.</p>

<p>When you reach a goal, reward yourself! This will help you stay motivated and on track. The reward doesn&#8217;t have to be big, even a small treat can be enough. BUT when you reward yourself with new workout gear or shoes- you are more than likely going to continue to push yourself in the gym! (especially so you can wear those new items) </p>

One way to reduce the frustration is to set more realistic goals with the amount of steps per day. Temporarily you may need to lower the total steps per day and increase once you hit that goal.
