I know I may be getting ahead of myself, but since vacation is approaching, I am dreaming of a nice tropical drink on the beach!! Anyone else??? If you are having the same dream, but aren’t going away anytime soon, then maybe this next recipe will help your dreams come true. Pi˜na Colada Shakeology “tastes like sweet, sunny summertime” and can be enjoyed anytime of the year. Check out the recipe below… Who says that a tropical drink can only be enjoyed in the summer?!?!

Ingredients

¾ cup water

¼ cup 100% pineapple juice

½ tsp. pure coconut extract

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

1 cup ice

Instructions

Place water, pineapple juice, coconut extract, Shakeology, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Spotlight on new Tropical Strawberry Shakeology ingredient: Coconut Flower Nectar! This naturally sweet, nutrient-rich nectar comes from coconut blossoms and contains amino acids, minerals, vitamin C and vitamin B. It’s so sweet that it actually took the place of fructose as a sweetening agent for the new blend! Plus, its low on the glycemic index scale so it produces slow energy release which may help maintain normal blood sugar levels.

The superfood name is a new one describing different foods that meet high concentrations of essential nutrients. An example of a superfood is coconut flower nectar.
