That works out to about one injury per year for a runner who logs three hours a week.” With these kinds of statistics, athletes and those who exercise regularly are bound to end up with an injury or two. So, the first thought is how long is my recovery and the second will I gain weight while being inactive? Both are valid questions and can depend on the type of injury whether it’s complete inactivity or just modified activity. Injury doesn’t equal weight gain but your meal plan may need to be modified slightly.
