Basically a small version of the cabbage, brussel sprouts can be prepared in so many different ways. High in fiber, rich in phytonutrients and antioxidant-like compounds, and a great source of vitamin k and c, these are just a few of the reasons why brussel sprouts need to be highlighted as a great addition to any diet. This is something I ask myself… Do I not like green veggies or am I struggling with the best way to prepare them? With so many varieties of green vegetables and so many ways to prepare them, it can be difficult to find the best way for you. Broccoli for instance is one of my favorites, but I always tend to cook it the same way. Trying different cooking methods may change your mind about the flavor of any vegetable.
